Our Programmes

FOREST SCHOOL

Afterschool clubs providing the full Forest School experience, including hands-on skills development, for children aged 5–12.

FOREST CLUB

A shorter, mini version of our Forest School Programme, offering a taste of outdoor learning for children aged   5–7.

GARRAÍ NA LEANAÍ

Gentle introductory Forest School sessions for our youngest adventurers aged 2–5 and their carers, fostering early connections with Nature.

NATURE JOURNAL CLUB

A creative programme where children explore nature through journaling, fostering mindfulness and observation skills.

Our Wilderness Camps

Our seasonal camps for ages 5–12 combining adventure and learning in the wild. Options range from 1- to 4-day Wilderness programmes, held at our favourite forest sites. Camps offer morning or full-day sessions to explore and connect with nature.

Our Event Series

Our standalone events inspired by the Forest School ethos, offering seasonal opportunities to connect with Nature. With activities like bushcraft, exploration, and outdoor play, these events bring adventure and learning to individuals and families year-round.

WILDERNESS DAYS

Dúlra’s stand-alone outdoor events, offering children a taste of our Forest School activities, where exploration and discovery take centre stage.

WILD GRRRLS

Our evening forest events for girls aged 10–15. Sessions focus on bushcraft skills, exploration, crafts and community, all within a supportive, all-female environment.

FIRESIDE FEASTS

A family-friendly event where participants prepare and enjoy a healthy, delicious meal cooked over the campfire. Learn outdoor cooking techniques while savouring fresh, nature-inspired dishes in a relaxed, outdoor setting.

Our Workshop Series

Our stand-alone workshops for all ages offering opportunities to acquire themed knowledge and skills in nature-based settings. Each workshop focuses on a specific topic, providing hands-on learning experiences.

CELTIC CELEBRATIONS

Our workshops for all the family inspired by Irish heritage and the Celtic calendar, offering hands-on learning in nature-based settings. Each session explores seasonal themes, traditions, and skills, connecting participants with the rhythms of nature and ancient practices.

FOREST SKILLS

For ages 5–15 with prior Forest School or bushcraft experience, these workshops focus on refining techniques and mastering skills with natural materials. In each workshop, participants create something unique to take home, building on their previous knowledge while learning new, hands-on bushcraft skills.

COTHÚ ÓN DÚLRA : FORAGING

A workshop for adults to explore the art of foraging, learning to identify and gather wild ingredients. Participants will forage for seasonal plants and herbs, then prepare delicious treats with their harvest, connecting with nature through taste and tradition.
